Try to hold your records only by the edges. Avoid touching the surfaces.Humidifying a record to quiet cracking or popping will make it worst in the long run!Use the lever that’s on the record player to change tracks. It will prevent you from damaging the record.Don’t keep your records outside of the packaging too long. Store them as soon as you’re finished listening to them.Last but not least: Don’t stack your albums! That’s how you end up with warped discs and ring wear on the album jacket.
